Boho Valentine

It's Monday, are you ready for a change in holiday season? I was ready to put the Christmas cards aside for today. I pulled out one of my favorite MFT sets called Boho blossoms. This is going to be a fantastic set to have come Valentine's Day. There was quite a little process with this card so I will try to explain it as clear as I can.
I took white cardstock and brayered it with toille pink Palette ink
I stamped my heart in Moulin Rouge Palette ink and embossed with clear powder
I took my versamark pen and added an outline to my heart and embossed with clear
I sponged the heart area with cocoa colorbox ink and then wiped off the excess so that you could see the pink shadow above the heart
I took my versamark pen again and drew in all the grooves of the heart and sprinkled with dazzling diamonds ep and heat set.

For the back panel I did the same sort of system. First starting with brayering pink then stamping hearts in cocoa. Colored in the hearts with versamark then clear embossed (so I would get a pink heart center) then brayered it entirely with red ink. Added a border punch and my own stick pin that I created with my felt flowers and some beads.
I tilted my card on an angle to try to capture the sparkle, it is very pretty IRL. I stamped the arrow and the love sentiment last in stazon so that it would lay over the embossed area with out smudging.

Enjoy your monday!
I just got some new MFT goodies in the mail, made me want to squeal they are sooooo cute! Can't wait to play with them and do some show and tell in the New Year.

Happy Stamping!

that heart is beautiful! the detail is amazing! I like that you chose to put ric-rac on the card - it is one of my faves. :)
