MFT Day!

I combined a couple of challenges today. First off it is Celebrate My Favorite Things day over on SCS. So I knew I was going to use an MFT set. Secondly, it is color challenge day. We were challenged to use pretty in pink, wild wasabi (which I don't have so I found the closest green) and white. This turned out to be a pretty Christmas card, which was what I had brewing in my head.

I colored the tree first with my copics and stamped a little border with the mini lights in this set around my oval. I covered the tree in pink liquid pearl ornaments and topped it with a star jewel I had in my stash (no idea where it is from). I wanted to create a decorative border on the bottom, so I dragged out my favorite circles from the (build a bouquet) set and stamped them in alternating colors then created the scallop with my scissors. I did some sewing and the last touch was the velvet bow and jewels. Very girlie....I love it!

Now it's your turn, here is the LINK for the forum where you post your MFT creation. I'd love to see it too, so I'll be checking in that forum today.

Happy Stamping!
