To all my american cyber friends, I want to wish you a happy and blessed Thanksgiving...I know it's tomorrow, but you will all probably be busy with family, so I am posting this today. I have truly been blessed by the MANY friendships I have gained this past year in the cyber world. Hugs to you all! Ok, on with the card.
I used Gina K's Happy Harvest pumpkins. I masked them to create a pumpkin patch that would stretch the width of my card. I was following today's sketch challenge over on SCS. I colored it with my copics, trying to show light and dark shades to my pumpkins and shading darker under them (to ground them). No one wants floating pumpkins! I used CHF's woodgrain background stamp to create the strips above and below my main image. I used MM distress tool to rough up the edges and added Tim Holtz distress ink to them. Topped off with this pretty chocolate ribbon and I have a very "harvesty" card.
Enjoy your day and preparation for Thanksgiving!
