I had full intentions of keeping to the MFT sketch this week but somehow it got away on me :)

I took little "liberties" here and there and in the end...well, I am hoping it somewhat resembles the sketch. I guess that is the full for me with sketch challenge...it is a springboard to creativity. If something is not working for me (design wise) I don't leave it in to simply follow a sketch, that is where the "inspiration" comes in :)

Now, with that little disclaimer, on to my card. I didn't get a chance to show you "Warm Wishes" in my teasers last week but now she is newly released! I colored her up with my copic markers (listed below) and decided to cut her out so that you could see more of the pretty background.

I used the Jumbo Fishtail STAX to cut out my burlap piece and then sewed it on so that it wouldn't fray.  That snowdrift Die-namics is a must-have for winter cards....so quick and easy. I used to use my husbands drafting snake tool to make the curves and would cut them by hand, they never turned out as nice and clean as this Die-namic.
So...here it is...the sketch. You can see SOME resemblance, right? Be sure to check out all the designers on the MFT blog...I am sure many of them followed it more closely :)
