Ah, release day at My Favorite Things! The day when you can finally go and check out in the store the new goodies that I have been showing you all week!
Speaking of goodies....How about these little wrapped up treats! Now, I can't take credit for the baking (insert fabulous mom-in-law here), but her baking came at the perfect time!
It is a long post filled with little hints and tips for this project so grab a cuppa and enjoy:)
Several new products in this sweet little card. The brand new Sentimental Flourish is my backdrop and then I used the Postage Stamp STAX as my frame (see how to do that below). I am LOVING the new Lemon Drop ink! It is not so pale that you can't see it and still a nice brightness to it.
I stamped my frame with the graph background in the new Journal it - Graph paper notes. I then stamped one of the sentiments from the On the Line set in Wild Cherry ink. I love that I can just grab a multiliner and circle the numbers of my birthday recipient!
Now it would be a shame to let such a pretty cut out go to waste. I used the negative portion from the sentimental flourish cut out and created a frame for my On the Line sentiment. The graph paper stamp has open ends so you can stamp it more than once for bigger backgrounds. I stamped it twice here....betcha you can't tell where :)
Now on to the treats!
This is actually stamped tissue paper that I sandwiched between two sheets of wax paper to make my own custom wrap.
Had to show you some of that new Lemon Drop ink....cute packaging from MFT. I stamped backgrounds first on the tissue paper.
I then added some sentiments with the Wild Cherry ink.
Here is what it looks like ironed between 2 sheets of wax paper. You wouldn't want any ink directly touching your food.
Here is how I made my little frame. Just nestle 2 postage stamp STAX inside each other...make sure they are straight. Use a piece of scotch tape to secure.
After cutting I then stamped that graph paper stamp over top.....yay!Speaking of goodies....How about these little wrapped up treats! Now, I can't take credit for the baking (insert fabulous mom-in-law here), but her baking came at the perfect time!
