The MFT Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where
we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific theme,
product, or technique. This month, we were challenged to create Holiday
Home Decor using our MFT Stamps and Die-namics. Be sure to check out
the MFT Blog for a list of all participating designers who have a
project to share with you today.
I have a fun and easy to make home decor item today. I just love the new Poinsettia Die-namics from MFT! I decided I wanted to make some to pin to base of my candle.
I have a video below showing you how I made these!
As you can see up close they have a pretty glossy appearance. You could use these to make hair pins, broaches for your coat...the ideas are really endless.
I airbrushed these flowers with my copic airbrush system so they are quick and easy!
Here is a look at the card to go along with the candle....this could make a nice hostess gift.
For the card I used the new Seasonal Sentiments stamp set.
A close up look at how I stamped the sentiment. I used Shell pink and cranberry adirondack pigment ink. I inked the shell pink first and then used the cranberry for the edges.
I did the same technique for the inside of the card and also embossed the poinsettia Die-namics on the inside as well.
