Lollipop Trees...and a bird!

Here we go!!! First sample of the new "Build a bouquet" set from My Favorite Things. This set is released TODAY! So click on this LINK to see all the new stuff!

Yes, I was going for a very modern look here....and what is that you see.....a bird! Yes, a leafy bird! These are the two sizes of leaves in the set and I thought they made a cool bird. The little birdie feet are stem stamps from this set as well. The sentiment is one from MANY in the cool new sentiment set. They all fit in the SU word window punch.....SCORE! If you do the math on this sentiment set I think each one only comes out to 57cents....you can't beat that price!

I used chalk ink for stamping this card, this type of ink works well when filling in large solid images like the circles. I went with a silver sage, moss green and deep gray color combo. The ribbon was from my stash of odds and sods. I also used my paper piercer to make it look like the bird is singing "hello".

Come back tomorrow, cause I have an entirely different look for this set! I just love sets that are versatile and can do many "looks" this is one of them......Build a Bouquet!(or lollipop trees and a bird).

Happy Stamping!
