Sympathy

Thankfully, I do not need this card right now. I do find I like to make sympathy cards ahead of time, as they are hard to make when emotions are raw. This was for today's inspiration challenge on SCS. I used the reverse masking technique to create my oval background. I then stamped my Fancy Pants flourish and MSE sentiment. Topped off with K & Co pearls and a dragonfly brad. It created the softness that I was looking for. My fingers seem to always be full of ink these days. The look was completed using my MM distresser and then Distress ink on the edges. I inked up my ivory satin ribbon a little too. Enjoy your weekend. Happy Stamping!

It is gorgeous and looks very soothing! I love the colors you chose. I've never thought about my own feelings having an effect on the outcome of the card, that's so smart of you!
TFS.

What a lovely card! It's so good to make it when the emotions are not so high. I always think I need to do that, but never do.
