Wednesday sketch time and I wanted to do a little colorin'!

How fun it is to color up this bunch of balloons from "Bunches of Birthday Wishes" from MFT!

I was going for transparent balloons so I included this close shot so that you could see that.
This is done so easily with copic markers because of their translucent ink. Try to remember to keep the edges of the balloons the darkest, they have the least amount of color in the middle.

I even added a bit of a "head" for this one....since the balloons are translucent :)

I stamped her on X-press it blending card paper and then cut her out with my pierced circle STAX Die-namics. A little bit of airbrushing with YR31 changed the super white paper to a creamy yellow to match the Basic Grey patterned papers.

My little flowers (that are on the sketch) are my letters that add to the sentiment made with the By the Letters Die-namics.

A paper pieced dress and a little machine stitching to put it together! Below you will find the sketch and you will want to play along! You can find all the inspiration you need on the MFT Blog!

I love the way the balloons look like you can see through them. I will have to try this but I know it won't turn out the same. Worth a try though. Love the card.
