Nothing says party like a birthday balloon! Lots to celebrate at MFT this month as it is turning 7!!!!
So, in honor of this milestone, you need to grab a cuppa because I have 5 cards to share with you today.
The "Party Balloons" set and "Party Balloons" Die-namics that I am featuring today are an EXCLUSIVE MFT product.....what does that mean?.... You will only be able to buy these at the MFT shop!
These products are going to go on sale JULY 9th at 10pm EST....so circle your calender and I hope you enjoy what I have to share with you today :)
You will find all the release details on the MFT blog as well.
At the BOTTOM of the post you will see a complete list of supplies I used to create ALL the cards.
Enjoy....
First up, birthday balloon looooove.
I "faux" letterpressed the Party Balloons Die-namics into this Primitive White cardstock. I then stamped the balloon with Berrylicious ink and added a little felt heart. The letters are the Bottom Line Alphabet Die-namics cut from the same Primitive White cardstock. To create the sentiment I pulled out the "For the Record" stamp set and stamped it in Red Hot ink.
Secondly, is this little bitty....
I created the card using the 3x4 Notebook Paper Die-namics. I folded a piece of Primitive Cream cardstock and laid the Die-namics on top just a little beyond the fold line so that it wouldn't cut at the very top.
I then stamped my Graph Paper Notes stamp in berrylicious and then added some clouds from the "Inspired by Up, Up and Away" set. The sentiment is from the "Birthday Greetings" set stamped in Hot Fudge ink....yummmm.
How about a little stamp kissing? I took the Party Balloons and inked them up in bubblegum and kraft ink....then before stamping....kissed them to one of the Washi Patterns stamp set and then stamped on Primitive White cardstock. It is a very subtle look but I love it! Another fabulous sentiment from the "Birthday Greetings" set!
A card construction day is not complete if I don't do a little sewing. These 3D balloons are so quick and easy to make with the Party Balloons Die-namics. Some of my favorite cardstock colors....Sno Cone, Pink Lemonade and Banana Split! I embossed another sentiment from the "Birthday Greetings" set in white.
Ok.....by this point you can tell I am loooovin' all these balloons. I did a little faux letterpress again with the balloon and stamped it in Lemon drop ink.
I drew a little string with my copic multiliner and attached it to the dog from the "Cupcake Cutie" set.
The inside (left) is a little more involved than you may think....
I stamped off the back two balloons with my lemon drop ink....and THEN stamped the center balloon with lemon drop (without stamping it off first). I did the same thing with the strings.....so....that is only 1 color of ink!
The sentiment, again, from the fabulous (must have) Birthday Greetings stamp set.
Here are the supplies that are being released JULY 9th 10pm EST:
