It is teaser time again at My Favorite Things! First up is this beautiful "Who's that Girl/Guy" set called "May I have this dance?"
So pretty and timeless. I paired it up with some Lily Bee papers and felt trim. Notice a new Die-namic? That is the skyline border. On the card front I cut one in vellum and one in black. I liked it so much that I added it to the inside of my card too.
I put together a series of photos to show you how I colored the image with my copics too.....enjoy!
I started with the skin and I tried adding my BV31 shadow undertones first. I am liking the results when I apply this first.
Here are the skin colors that I used. It looks dark when everything else is uncolored...that's ok....
I used my toner grays to color up his tux. Blacks can be tricky as I wanted his tux to be black and not appear gray. I wanted his tux to have that fabric finish look to it but his lapel was more of a satin finish so it would be shiny and catch a few light reflections.
I paper pieced her beautiful dress....I want one! I also added some shading and shadows with my toner grays on her dress. Everything else has shape so her dress needs it too!
Lastly, I colored in the background. Going with the pretty yellows that are in my patterned paper.
