Die-namics Teaser

It is time for a peek at the new dies coming to My Favorite Things....HUGE on my wishlist was GRASS! I wanted a die and not a punch so that I could have cute felt grass.
I even made a little grassy hill with my die. This is using MFT's newest felt as well, it cuts like a dream!
How did I get that grass to stick? I just took my ATG gun and applied adhesive on the bottom of my card in the shape of a hill. I then die cut several strips of grass and laid them on in rows.
This is using the Stephanie Fizer set "Sheltering Tree". I was going for this really organic feel to my card so I stamped the tree on the cork sheets from MFT and cut it out.
The fabulous rub on sentiment is from Melissa Frances.
Here is a little close up of my grassy hill. The cute little characters I colored with my copic markers and I also gave a little copic color to my cork tree for shadows.
