How did you spend your May long weekend?...for us Canadians that is...
I spent a jammed packed weekend full of crafting fun with eye candy in papercrafts but the biggest eye candy was the landscape! Alaska is GORGEOUS and I had a beautiful weekend too!
It is now Alaska's tourist and fishing season so I thought I would show you this fun little fishing card...
This is a simple layout as to draw attention to the fun image! I colored it with my copics and airbrushed all my edges to distress the papers.
I also took my pinking sheers to the bottom of the card for a little extra something.
Here are the full list of card deets:
Fishing with my Dog (Sara England) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Espresso Adirondack (Ranger)
Lil' Man Collection (Cosmo Cricket)
Natural Card Stock (Neenah)
Airbrush System (Copic)
Tiny Attacher (Tim Holtz)
Here is a photo with my lovely hostess for the weekend. Betty from Stamp Attic was so wonderful to me. She picked me up and drove me around....even showed me the sights of Alaska and Anchorage. This is taken just outside the hotel room we used for the certification.
Here is a photo of some of the lovely ladies I met in Anchorage. This is one of the card classes I taught. Betty was able to use the empty space right next to her store so that we could have ample space to play and then were able to go and shop!
The mountains literally took my breath away and I marveled at the beauty God has created in Alaska. I am fortunate to live among very pretty mountains but had NEVER seen ones like these! This was a quick road side stop and Betty was kind enough to snap a picture with me in it!
Thank you to the wonderful people of Alaska whom I met....they were so delightful and made my stay there fantastic!
Well....today is my LARGE dental appointment....can you say 3 root canals, 2 crowns and five composite fillings in one day....I am soon to be very drugged and can't wait for the day to end. Hopefully tomorrow I will be clear headed and can play in my studio!
Have a great day!
