I have the great opportunity to host this weeks "Ways to use it" challenge on Splitcoaststampers. I am filling in for the FABULOUS Julia Stainton as she has a funeral of a family friend to attend. Hugs and Prayers to you today Julia....
I had thoughts of doing something fabric....but didn't want to scare too many away from the challenge so I went with something that we ALL have in our house.....Office Supplies!
Whether they are made for scrapbooking or the regular office supplies that you have kicking around in the house I would love to see how you incorporate those items into your card designs! You can join in the challenge HERE.
In my card I used a couple of fabulous new items from Tim Holtz. The mini paperclip and the tiny staples are from his line. I just love the small scale of these products making them perfect for cards. I also used the notebook punch to add a little more of a school look. This new ATC (All things considered) set is being released Tuesday (August 4th) at Cornish Heritage Farms.....Woohoo! I've had a lot of fun playing with it.
I colored the image with my copic markers, making the shadow resemble the color of the kraft card stock. I used E31, 35 to achieve this look. For her clothing I grabbed my new pale colors and faded away to whites. If you click on the photo you can see a close up version.
Here are all my card details:
