Happy Canada Day to all my fellow Canadian friends! I made this card quick before heading out to the parade (my daughter marches in her school marching band). I tried to quickly load it up before I left and alas the internet connection wasn't cooperating with me. So a little late today but here is a sneak peek at what is hitting the farm on Thursday....new Kim Hughes....YEAH!
I did this with the sketch challenge inspiration on SCS today.
Here is a close look at some paper piecing I did on the chicken. You don't always need to use pattened paper when doing this technique. I just stamped this image out on white card stock a couple of times, colored with my copics and then layered up my chicken!
Here are all the deets:
Stamps:
On the Farm (Kim Hughes Collection) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink:
Tuxedo Black Memento (Tsukineko)
Paper:
Kraft, Simply Smooth WHite (Prism)
Accessories:
Copic Markers
Ribbon, Buttons (Making Memories)
Twine
Enjoy your holiday!!!

LOVE this card. The layout is perfect. The buttons remind me of eggs. Also another fab KH set.
cute, like the chic and button combo!
Hi Sherrie~ This card is fantastic! Love the simplicity of it, fabu buttons and sweetly colored chicken! I wanted you to know that I just ventured into the world of video tutorials, and you have been a great source of inspiration for me. Thank you so much for all you share! Hugs & Blessings ~Cindy Lawrence
