LOTS to show you today....these crinkled flowers were part of the challenge today over on SCS. So fun and easy to make. I cut out the shapes with my spellbinder dies and wadded them up into a little ball...flattened them out and then took my sanding block to them. They make a pretty textured element. In this shot you also get to preview one of the lovely sentiments in the new "Sweet Bee" set that is coming to the farm June 19th. I love the uniqueness of it!
A funny little thing about the sentiment...I had initially stamped it directly on the base patterned paper....VERY CROOKED! Oh no! Didn't want to throw the whole card out! So I stamped the sentiment again on the patterned paper and laid it over top of my mistake....
One of the biggest things I have learned as I craft is how to fix mistakes.....lol!
Here is the whole card. I followed along in the CPS sketch for this week. You can find that sketch HERE. See that wonderful chunk of text? That is a stamp TOO! It is one of the newest scrapblocks...yes 6x6 of glorious red rubber. Fantastic for cards and all kinds of altered items! Looooove it!
