Urban Baby Couture

Need a personalized gift? How about these baby girl/boy gifts? The fabulous fabric is Michael Miller and I added a stamped panel to the front. This is from Kim Hughes' "Baby Love" set. The little baby bib image and the "got milk?" are my favorite! Another wonderful use for those copic markers. I thought this made a very hip bib duo.
They are so easy to make. I just drew out a shape of a bib on a piece of paper and used that for my pattern....the brown binding around the edge finishes them just like you would a quilt.

We all need baby gifts now and then, with adding stamping they are entirely original....LOVE THAT!
Enjoy your day!

Those bibs are so stinkin' cute!!! Is the white fabric just 100% cotton?

yes, the white fabric is some scraps I had from an old cotton sheet.

what did you ink the stamps in? And, then I'm guessing that you colored them with copics?
Thanks in advance!

the ink is chocolate brilliance ink, heat set, then colored with copics

Very cute. Do you have problems with the Copic Colors bleeding when you wash them?

I haven't had trouble with that...although Marianne from Copic says to be careful with the reds...
