As I promised some before and after shots of my new studio space!
This is what my room looked like after moving day....and there were many more boxes on the other side of the door...it looked like a mountain of boxes!
I'm done setting up and this is a peek from the main stairwell of our house, this little room is tucked just off the master bedroom and overlooks the foyer of the house...as a mom it is perfect! I can keep an eye on the happening of the house while I create.
These are old blueprint drawers that my husband used (he is a draftsman) before the age of computers. These are the heart and soul of my new space...I put EVERYTHING in them! Now the Martha in me is tempted to make little name plates for each drawer with it's contents...maybe down the road.
All my Prism paper laid out so I can see it.
My coloring station. I received this easel last Christmas and just love it! It saves my back with the hours of coloring that I do...and of course my favorite tool nestled beside....my copics!
Don't you just love the "clip-it-up"! I keep all my backgrounders and scrapblocks on the lower rack and the top is filled with embellishments. You can't see it in the photo but my sewing machine table is next to this and that brown shelf I am using for scissors, rulers and threads that I reach for all the time!
My wonderful FIL built this for me a few years ago...the most awesome wall shelf! I love looking at my Kinkades all in a row. I added labels to my ink pads for easy color recognition.
And here is where I sit to play! So there is a little peek into my world....now I am off to play today!

Love the peak into your world. And I absolutely love the old bludprint drawer...that is something I've been looking for and hope to have one myself some day.
