Yes, it is release day for Tom Allen's newest image called "O' Christmas Tree". Isn't it sweet! I was thinking when I made this card....it takes some time to color, why not make it something someone would keep. So the little ornament on the card is removable to be able to hang on the tree.
Here is a close shot of my coloring. This was colored with copics. Cut out with a circle spellbinder die and while the die was still on I sponged some antique linen ink around the edge. This leaves the scalloped edge nice and clean and white (adding and extra layer visually).
Finally a photo of just the removed ornament. So cute! Here are all the stamping details:
Stamps:
O' Christmas Cone (Friendly Kritters) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Weathered Wood Backgrounder by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink:
Espresso (Adirondack)
Antique Linen Distress ink (Ranger)
Paper:
Simply Smooth White, Island Mist Light, Suede Brown Dark (Prism)
Accessories:
Copic Markers
Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders)
