Sketch Challenge

I definitely wanted to play along in today's sketch challenge. Who is the host? The lovely Lisa Strahl. This is my fun version of the sketch. I bought some yummy new Crate designer paper called Blue Hill. Isn't it so tweet?

I thought I would show you a close shot of this fun glitter. I used my glaze pen and went a little nuts! You can never have too much "bling" right?! I colored these images with my copics and did some shading. You can see the bottom of the nest is darker than the middle. If you look close at the flower petals they get darker towards the center. I just used the tip to tip technique to achieve this.
I also added some glitter to my patterned paper too by using my glaze pen and outlining a few details then shaking some glitter over it.
Here are the deets:
Stamps:
Bloomin' Beautiful, Pretty Birds (Cornish Heritage Farms)
Ink:
Espresso (adirondack)
Paper:
Blue Hill (Crate)
Spring Willow Light, Simply Smooth White (Prism)
Accessories:
Hardware (We R Memory Keepers)
Pink Brad (Heidi Swapp)
Ribbon (A Muse)
Nestabilities (Spellbinders)
Copic Markers
Glaze pen (Sakura)
Art Glitter (Barbara Trombley)
