First Video Tutorial

I picked up a cool little gadget with some of my Christmas money. It is called a "flip video" camcorder. I wanted something basic so that I could show a few video tutorials. So be kind, this is my first one. I'm sure as I get better at the editing process my videos will improve, but we all have to start somewhere, right?

The video shows the main colored image and a couple of tricks that I use with my copic markers. Thanks for watching!
Supplies,
Crafty Secrets stamp
Basic Grey DP (mellow)
Ornare paper piercing template and piercer
Nestabilities
Copic Markers
Grungeboard flourish (Ranger)

Sherrie, that was awesome! Not only did I feel like I was right in your studio with you, I learned some GREAT tips for using my Copics! Thank you so much! (you cracked me up with your coffee and grapes. . .it did make me feel "at home" in your studio though!) LOL Happy New Year!

Great video tutorial -- can't believe it's your first -- you seemed like a pro! I really enjoy your blog and now that you've added this new feature it's going to just improve on a blog that was already great! Congratulations on your new flip video (now I want one -- not that I'd ever do a tutorial but to catch little things I might otherwise wish I had on video). Thanks!

tHAN WAS AWESOME..........CAN I ASK A QUESTION WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT BETWEEN THE PRISOME MARKERS AND THE COPIC?GREAT VIDEO AGAIN

Sherrie said...

sure you can ask a question Carmen, the main difference for me is that my copics are refillable and have replaceable nibs so I don't need to buy markers again! I have heard from people who own both that the copics are way less "streaky" than prismas. There are also a lot more colors in the copic line. Those are the main difference....of coarse the copics are a bit pricier.

Wow..that was great for your first one. You know what I liked about it? That I could keep the already made card and the video tutorial window in the same screen so I could keep looking back and forth. Great tips, too.

great tutorial-my Flip is already having to go back in for repairs. it wont update the software-I gave everyone one when I found them at Costco. Guess I can go play with my copics after the game since its gonna drop up to ten inches here-what fun. Yuck.

This is such a great tutorial!!! I gained a lot by watching it-- just waiting for my Copics to arrive, then I'll be able to try some!! Thanks for the info!!!

This is such an awesome tutorial and one that many people can apply to their artwork, even if they don't have copic markers (like me!). But I must say, I have been looking into them for myself, but because they aren't cheap, it's good to have a tutorial to know what to do with them, before making the leap to purchase so thanks for sharing with us. Also, I noticed you used Nestablilites on this card as well, maybe food for thought, a Nestabilities tutorial in the future?
