Halloween Lantern

I tried to capture the feeling of the lanterns from this Melissa Frances Label in my freehand lantern. I used the canvas background SU stamp on the pumpkin paper, then sewed where the creases of the pumpkin would be. I then sponged the sewing lines to draw attention to them and provide some shading. The wire handle and the little charm are my embellishments. I did a similar one last Halloween and loved it so I changed a few things and tried it again this year, still love it!
Off to get my passports today, getting ready to go to CHA in February....how exciting!

Think of me while you enjoy stamping, I'll be standing in some long line-up!

Sherrie,
This card is soooo awesome. I love how you went outside the card to make it appear to be a real pumpking. Good luck with the passports! Chris

I've never provided a comment for the zillions of blog cards I've seen, but this pumpkin is fantastic! Way to go.
