We are going out with some friends tonight, so I made a card for the occasion. You should see the fall leaves out here in the BC area. They are just stunning in color! For this card I used my brayer in three fall colors to cover my background Anna Griffin stamp. Then I stamped the martha stewart leaf halfway on the background and the other half hung off the edge. I watercolored the leaf with reinkers and an aquapainter. I applied Tim Holtz crackle finish to my leaf and let it dry and crack overnight. I did some sewing with the multicolored thread that matched and stamped (SU) Friendship and then adhered my ribbon in more of a formal way to suit the background.
Last little detail is those pebbles, now I have seen them as "babbles" at stampingbella and have seen them also for sale in Ellen's store. There are a lot of places to pick these fun embellishments up. I once again colored them with my copic markers to match my fall colors.
Hope you all enjoy your weekend!
Happy Stamping!
