The Grand Canyon

Here is a card combining many of My Favorite Things. Amy Butler patterned paper, Hot Stuff stamp and It's elemental stamps. I tried to create a look that made you really look to see what is the patterned paper and what are the stamps I added to it. Love the faux ric rac in the elemental set, I also widened the central image by adding a row of dots from the elemental set. The buttons are a fun accent as well. The stitched ribbon I have in my stash was perfect with this paper. Hope you are enjoying these posts while I am away. Looking forward to getting at my craft table again, 2 weeks is a long time!

We are in the Grand Canyon! At a balmy 107 degrees! What a sight, the photos are just not the same as seeing IRL! I had sucess at blackjack in Vegas so I picked up some great goodies at Archivers. The new garden set by Fancy Pants and some of the wonderful new paper from Cosmo Cricket....oh what a treat! Can't wait to play!

Thank-you for all the kind birthday wishes, I had a wonderful day!

Great card, it is very difficult to tell what is stamping and what is not. I need to ink my set up.

I LOVE what you did with this. The faux ric rak, the kissed photo corner (at least that is what I think you did...you can never be sure in the stamp world, lol), and the ribbon is perfect. I don't know if the paper is diagonal or if you made it that way, FABULOUS work. TFS.
