Flower Garden

What a wonderful day to create! My house is clean and my white sheets are hanging on the line so they will be bleached a bright white and smell like heaven! I do a much better job of creating when there isn't clutter in my head on what needs to be done in the house!

I drew inspiration from this magazine photo for my card. I loved the striped bedding and the green grass pillows poking out. In my card I folded over the rim of pp to make it look like the bed is turned down. I also did what I love to do and that is GET MY HANDS DIRTY! They were full of ink by the time this card was done......love that! I loved the little dots on the card Julee send me so I added those in too, although they were too white, just had to get my ink out again! LOL!!Hope you are enjoying your Saturday!

Details:
Flower blossoms are TT acrylics
Flower stems are Memory Box acrylics
PP is MME
Tag punch Martha Stewart
Ribbon from my stash
White gel pen
Tim Holtz distess ink (vintage photo) Definitely my favorite!

Cheryl S. can you contact me via e-mail for your blog candy. If I don't hear from you by Monday I'll draw another name!

Beautiful! I agree that the house can get in the way of creativity! I too was stripping beds, dusting, cleaning toilets.....of course I was too tired to stamp!

Love the colors and patterns in your card. Just beautiful. The polka dot ribbon ties in perfectly with the dots around the edges.
