I LOVE the chalkboard look and today I am showing it off.....vintage style:)
"Chalkboard Greetings" is going to be May's triple scoop set at MFT. What is a triple scoop set? Well...if you spend $60 or more at MFT you will get this set for FREE! It is an awesome set too :)
I stamped this chalkboard in two stages...I used a versamark pen to ink up only the "Good" sentiments and then stamped them and embossed them in blue embossing powder. I then versamarked the rest of the sentiment, stamped and embossed in white embossing powder. I also did a little doodling with my prismacolor pencils and scuffed up the edges with a white ink pad.
I cut it out using the new "Vertical Frame" Die-namics. I paired up this great set with some awesome Melissa Frances Goodies!
The patterned paper is the Classic Elegance collection. The front is finished off with a combination of reproduction glass buttons and button jewels.
I used up the extra pieces from cutting 2 frames for the inside, with another sentiment. You can see that the pieces are just the reverse.
