The MFT Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature,
where we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific
theme, product, or technique.
I had some fun with different folds for todays' creative challenge. This first card is a tri-fold card made with a kraft card stock base.
I stamped the "Love U" from the Lovey Dovey Stamp set in Wild Cherry ink and then trimmed it out and mounted it on one of the Heart STAX.
The front panel was created by stamping several of the finishing flourishes stamps in Blu Raspberry ink.
The inside was fun to decorate too...I stamped rows of the Hearts & Stitches border in wild cherry ink. Finished with some Blu Raspberry card stock and a layered heart border.
Card #2 was done more matchbook style. The matchbook was created from the kraft cardstock. One piece measuring 4.25x11.
I used quite a combo of sets here. The sentiment on the outside is the "You + Me" from the Off the Charts set and the letters for "Match" are from the Vanity License Plate set.
The two little PI's are colored with my copics. I love that they "match".
Here is a look at the inside with sentiment stamped in wild cherry ink. A little bit of hemp string and a kraft button finish off the bottom.
Here is a close up of these two cuties!
This month, we are highlighting our favorite color combinations using MFT Ink, cardstock, buttons, ribbon, and felt.
Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for a list of all participating designers who have a project to share with you today.
