I think it is probably fair to say that everyone has creative ruts now and then. I took a little of my own advice and did something COMPLETELY out of my box. I tried my hand at a little mixed media. Felt SOOOOO good!
This project is done on a canvas that I prepped with some new Classic Elegance Melissa Frances papers.
I then put my copics, paints, MFT stamps and Die-namics to work. I created this little scene....some parts "worked" for me and others didn't....but I really enjoyed the experimentation!
Below is a close up of one of my favorite parts. I used Golden Ultra thick medium in and tinted it with some BG10 and then cut out a mask using the MFT Jumbo Cloud STAX, will my little putty knife I layered it in. So cool in dimension!
My supply list is long (below), that's the way it is with Mixed Media :)
