Flower Girl

Ah memories....here is my little girl dressed up for my sister's wedding. I printed out the photo in black and white so I could color some of the elements.
This is using Melissa Frances goodies...the vintage posy line is perfect for these delicate pages.
Where to buy Melissa Frances goodies?....Ellen's shop has a great selection that you can find here.
These fun flowers were made using the glitter flowers from Melissa Frances and then also the rolled flower Die-namic Die from MFT with scraps of the vintage posy paper. Melissa Frances pearls added to the centers.
I used my copics to color the letters on "girl" to match.
There are a lot of airbrushing accents on this page....this airbrushed resin piece is one of them. It comes in a really pretty white from Melissa Frances and I just did a couple shots of my V markers. I love that my copics will adhere to almost any surface.
Here is a close up of a few different elements. Instead of adding crocheted ribbon to this layout I used it to airbrush the pattern. I did this in the top right corner as well. I also used my markers to color the flowers in her hairpiece and added a tint of color to the white pearls as well.

Wow....it does truly feel like yesterday that she was this age......My daughter hung this page up in her room :)

This is so darling. I never thought about coloring a black & white/sepia photo. Thanks for the great idea.
