MFT Teaser Day!

It is teaser time and you know what that means! It is getting close to the monthly release time at My Favorite Things! Here are a few details you should know about this month's release:
Teasers begin July 3rd and will happen every day until and including release day. You can find the list of designers for teasers each day at 11am EST on the MFT Blog.
The release party will be happening on the MFT Forums on July 7th beginning at 8pm EST (that is 5pm for us here in the pacific time zone).
Don't forget to check out our guest designer contest this month. You can find all that info in the forums HERE.
The big "Hop and Shop" day will be release day (July 7th) where you will be able to hop and see all the goodies on the designer's blogs and then do a "shop" the festivities will begin on the MFT blog.
Today I am previewing the "banner day alphabet"! Along with this fabulous new font of alphabet (which comes with both upper and lower case) you will be able to purchase this new banner die from the Die-namics line at My Favorite Things!
I am dreaming up all the little sayings or "banners" that I will now be able to spell out! Yeah!
I pulled out Wyatt from the "Meet Emma and Wyatt" set and took the dog from the "Tree Swing" set and joined them together with this banner.
I used my multiliner pen to draw the little string.
I did get a little Die Crazy on this card....notice the nice felt grass and the clouds in the sky. Both MFT Die-namics as well! I particularly enjoyed creating this scene with a little masking and my airbrush system. I colored all my images with copics and then did something fun for the sky....Keep scrolling and I'll show you how!
I used the die-namics cloud die to cut out several clouds from my masking sheet. I also stamped Wyatt and the dog with stazon and created masks for them too!
On a plain sheet of Neenah paper I stamped my Wyatt and dog images in Memento ink and then covered them with my masks. I also placed the masked clouds in the sky, overlapping them a little for interest.
I then used my B00 copic marker and used the airbrush system to spray my blue sky. I tried to keep the largest concentration of the blue ink right around the ridges of my mask so they would have a nice clean image line.
Here is what it looked like after airbrushing. See how I keep my little masks with the stamp sets that they belong with....perfect for using next time!

Thanks for popping by today....being a long weekend and all! Hope you are enjoying it!
I know I am....I made a wee purchase over the weekend.....a new camera! My dive into the SLR world! I can't wait to play a little with it!
