To make this flower I pulled out some very old and dated eyelet fabric. I had a piece of felt cut into a circle for the base that is covered with adhesive then I loosely wrapped my eyelet fabric into a circle. I pulled out my copic airbrush system to add some color. V95,V99 for the eyelet fabric and then I made a little twill tape rolled center that I airbrushed with BG72.The lavendar layer of card stock is Arturo paper....beautiful texture! You can find some in Ellen's shop here.
The patterned paper is lovely Melissa Frances. I only had a scrap of it left so I am not sure of it's name but you know you love a paper if you are using scraps! I used Melissa Frances white ric rac as well.
I also used my copic multiliner pen to add another frame to my card and tie in the black sentiment. I have seen this done by Nicole Heady and just love the look of sophistication that it brings.
I also used my new die-namics from MFT. This is the jumbo scallop....seems that I am reaching for it all the time!
Here is a little close shot of the sentiment. It is from the "Clearly sentimental about Mother's" set from My Favorite Things. I actually stamped it twice. Once in juniper ink (Ranger) then again in black...love the little shadow effect that brings.Wishing you an enjoyable and productive Monday....I have had a latte and am off to the races today. My daughter is playing one of her piano pieces in a piano festival today so in between picking kids up and dropping them off at their events today I will be prepping for Alaska this weekend. I can't wait! Should be a FUN long weekend!
Later!
