His and Her Get Well

I have a couple of cards to show you today....
These are done using CHF's "Common Cold" set from the Saturday Evening Post line. I love vintage and these images are perfect for get well cards with a bit of fun nostalgia thrown in.
I colored these with my copics...matching up my colors with the fantastic Melissa Frances paper. Perfect for those vintage images!
After I had sewn around the perimeter I decided to rough up the edges, love that tattered look when you are probably feeling pretty tattered...lol! Here are all the card deets:
Stamps:
Common Cold (SEP) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink:
Tuxedo Black memento (Tsukineko)
Paper:
Patterned Paper (Melissa Frances)
White (Neenah)
Accessories:
Copic Markers
Air Brush System (Copic)

Wood Flourish (Kaisercraft)
Oval Die (Spellbinders)
Sewing

Here is the female version....isn't it sad that she won't make it to her party? I did some fun paper piecing on this image. I used the smaller (tighter) pattern of flowers to piece the blanket and pillows. The green party dress matches the flower's leaves in the patterned paper. Love those Jenni Bowlin chipboard buttons and I had to use the center punchouts of the buttons too to accent my sentiment.
Here are all the deets for this one:
Stamps:
Common Cold (SEP) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink:
Rich Cocoa Memento (Tsukineko)
Paper:
Smile (Melissa Frances)
White Card Stock (Neenah)
Accessories:
Air Brush System, Markers (Copic)
Oval Die (Spellbinders)
Sheer Flower (Maya Road)
Chipboard Button (Jenni Bowlin)
Ribbon (Melissa Frances)

Hope you are all feeling well! See you tomorrow for Taylor's Sketch challenge! Woohoo!
