Ahhh, the cool weather is here. The pitter patter comfort of the rain is back and it makes me want to curl up and papercraft! Fall is one of my most favorite seasons...how about you? It is gorgeous here as I look out my window with the spray of autumn colors sprinkling all the trees in our yard.
For this card I used one of Cornish's new ATC sets....Fall Harvest. I paired it up with the very contempory paper of "Boyfriend" from Cosmo Cricket. Love how it gives a modern edge to this vintage design. My favorite part was the scrap of chenille that I sewed on for a cozy look.
The pumpkin was colored with my copics. I used YR61, YR65, YR18 and E09. Those seemed to bring the orangy glow I was looking for. I wrote them down in my sketch book for later so I don't have to "reinvent the wheel" every time that I color pumpkins.
Don't forget to color match embellishments too....those thickers (my frame and tag) were white and I just swiped them with my matching markers to coordinate. LOVE THAT!
Here are all the deets:
