Vintage Baby, Vintage....and a winner!

I am FILLED with excitement today because I can show you a peek of a brand new scrapblock that is currently becoming my new "fav"! SOOOOO versatile, you can use this scrapblock with people, flowers, images or just on it's own. Today I created a very different baby boy card. I used those fab retro papers from Cosmo Crickets "Early Bird" collection and I stamped my new scrapblock directly on the patterned paper. I then spotlighted the particular ad that went with the theme of my card (in this case baby shoes).
I stamped the shoe image from "The shoe boutique" set on kraft card stock and cut them out and pasted them to my ads.

Now you ask me WHEN does this scrapblock get released.....FRIDAY JULY 17th! Don't worry, I'll have more to show you with this fabulous stamp before then....

THE TIP FOR TODAY:
You know that front sheet that comes with patterned paper packs that is basically an index for what is in the package? It is a very nice small scale and came in really handy for my little tag. So don't throw that sheet away! I often use it for paper piecing too.

Now onto the announcement of the weekend winner...
AND THE WINNER IS:

MARIA GURNSEY!

those cupcakes are so stinkin fabulous!!! as much as i love what you do with paper you are equally as stunning with fabric :)
