A Love Story

Disclaimer: I am NOT a regular scrapbooker and now that I look over this project, there are things that I could "tweek" here and there but nonetheless I am pleased with this wall hanging duo for our bedroom.
I found a couple of ceramic wall plaques at the dollar store, just crying out to be covered.
The paper is "The Sweet Life" by Webster's Pages....this beautiful paper seems to tell a story all by it's self. It is perfect for my "fairy tale" story.

Yes, that's me and my hubby in that wedding photo....we look like kids!
This is one of my favorite stamping touches. The verse is from "Wedding Centers" in the Mona Lisa Moments line from Cornish Heritage Farms. The bride and groom stamp from the Kim Hughes Collection.
I needed to show you a side view, it is pretty all the way around with this prima ribbon.
A couple of details you might not notice....
"A love story" is stamped from that same "Wedding Centers" set.
Stitching everywhere from around the perimeter to around my photo and a stitch line to accentuate the circle motif.
I did go in with my copic markers a little and touch the photo. Adding a little yellow on the outside of my hubbys' sleeve to draw a little more definition.
Here is my current family....16years later. I cut a little around the frog so that my photo could slip under his nose.
I used my copics to give some color to the tractor hood.
"Embrace, Moments to remember and the flourish" are all stamps from CHF that I incorporated into this design as well.

Yes, I will admit, my hubby has given me the life of a fairy tale. I truly enjoyed every process of creating this wall art.

See you all tomorrow....you know it is cupcake friday.....as well as a very "GOOD FRIDAY". See you then!
