Manly Monday

Looking to have some fun with paint? It is nice to change it up a little rather than reaching for the ink pad every time. This is one of the new images from the Saturday Evening Post line and I thought it would make an ultra cool clear card!
Here is the shot of the card open. I used the Thomas Kinkade (Masculine Series) patterned paper in the background...nice woodsy feel...
I wanted to show you a fun detail. I stamped this image in paint and then took my paintbrush and swirled it around a little....doesn't it look like fur?! Loved that! Anyway, here are all the card deets:
Stamps:
Mountain Elk (SEP), Distressed Grid (Scrapblock), Essential Expressions Classic (MLM) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink:
Jet Black Archival, Vintage Photo Distress (Ranger)
Paper:
Masculine Series Thomas Kinkade, Clear Sheets (CHF)
Accessories:
Claudine Hellmuth Paint (Ranger)
Grungeboard (Tim Holtz)
Brads (Creative Impressions)
Twine

Enjoy your week! I'm sure you probably are all as busy as I am...we'll see how often I can post in this countdown to Christmas...could be a little erratic...kinda like my life right now...lol!

Wow that is so cool, and having that paper behind it just tops it off, love the dangling leaves too, great masculine card!
