CHF Challenge Chicks Transparencies

Are you hooked on CHF chicks challenge monday yet? I look forward to them every week, it is so fun to see all the different "takes" on a challenge. This week we are using transparencies. Did you know that Cornish Heritage Farms is now carrying clear 81/2x11 sheets in the store. HERE is the link to those.
I actually did two for this challenge. This first one I had to go outside to get the photo. I wanted the sun to catch the cool silver silhouette of Elvis on the transparency laid over the Kinkade "graceland" image.
One nifty little detail, see where the "Elvis Presley" signature is in the bottom left. It is the same on the Kinkade stamp as well, so when I laid the clear sheet over top, I lined up the signatures.
Here are this cards deets:
Stamps:
Graceland (Thomas Kinkade) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Mic Swingin' Silhouette, You're the king (Elvis) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Ink:
Espresso, Pitch Black (Adirondack)
Silver (Palette Metallics)
Paper:
Simply Smooth White, Mystic Light, Suede Brown Dark (Prism)
Clear Sheet
Accessories:
Micro brads (Creative Impressions)
Copic Markers
White gel pen (Inkssentials)

Now for some whimsy! This is with Kim Hughes' new "Make the Grade" set combined with the little caterpillar from "The landing pad" set. I stamped my Lined Paper background on my blue paper then did some paper piecing with the apple and caterpillar. On the clear sheet I stamped the apples in metallic inks and used a rub-on for the flourish. These clear sheets are really stable so I cut a little slit for my ribbon in the top. This helped keep the top half of my blue paper in place and I used glue dots under random apples to secure the lower half.
I used my spellbinder die to create the munched edge in my apple.
Here are all the deets:
Stamps:
Make the Grade, The landing pad (Kim Hughes Collection) by Cornish Heritage Farms
Lined Paper Backgrounder
Ink:
Crimson Red (Palette Metallics)
Pearlescent Olive (Brilliance)
Espresso (Adirondack)
Reflection Blue (Palette)
Paper:
Natural Smooth, Baby Blue Light (Prism)
Clear Sheet
Accessories:
Costco Ribbon
Quickie Glue Pen (Sakura)
Rub-on (Crate)
