Watercolor Turtle

I had to try watercoloring "Tyson the turtle" today. This gives an entirely different look than other coloring tools...ie markers, pencils. I love this mix with this fabulous new Basic Grey archaic paper. It just SCREAMS turtle to me! This cute lil' guy is the stamp of the month over at Cornish Heritage Farms.
I wanted to show you a nice close shot of the watercoloring. I created that nice blue sky glow around him and also painted the ground cover.
Here are the card deets:
Stamps:
Tyson the turtle (CHF)
Ink:
Timber brown (Stazon)
Paper:
Archaic (Basic Grey)
Espresso, White (Prism)
Accessories:
watercolor paints (sakura)
nestabilities (spellbinders)
white gel pen (Inkssentials)
small corner rounder (EK Success)
ribbon (SEI)

Be sure you stop in on Monday. The CHF chicks have created some fantastic cards using distress inks....I can't wait to show you mine!
Have a great weekend!

Fabulous work, Sherrie! Tyson is such a cute little guy. I love the way you colored his shell, it really matches the paper well. TFS.
