CHF Challenge Chicks

Today's card was a BLAST to create. My BIL turned 40 this weekend and I wanted to make a very "fun" card to mark the occassion. Happy Birthday Mark! I also wanted to squeeze in a couple challenges! Today the challenge for the CHF chicks was a sketch challenge. Here it is below...challenged by our very own Lesley Langdon! April-21-Sketch
Here is my version of the sketch. I also wanted to take part in today's background blitz challenge...stamping a backgrounder on anything but paper. Well, I did it all! I stamped the grid paper background on an acetate sheet. I never realized how much fun acetate can be!!! I stuck items under the acetate (right corner detail) and over it (the 40 and the buttons).
I have both blue and white stazon ink and it was fun to mix up the colors by stamping my grid in blue and my bold curls and sentiment in white.
Here are all the card deets and the links to the CHF girls that are playing along.
Come join us! We are having a lot of fun with the backgrounds and lots of goodies being given away! Register in the CHF forums and join us in the background chat HERE.
