January "Dirty" Challenge

My first official "Dirty" Challenge! This is so fun. This challenge went out to all current and alumni dirty girls. We were to incorporate something sweet with a girl focal image. I actually thought of this one in the night....hubby loves that LOL! I remembered when my daughter and I were in Italy (it was easter time) and we strolled by many windows of shops filled with sweets.

This Rubber Romance girl reminds me of Europe so I decided to make my own little "sweets" window. I used the canopy from My Favorite Things (meet me at the cafe) and with my copic 0.3 black pen (that I got from Ellen's store) I drew the window and the sidewalk. I filled up the window with sweets from My Favorite Things (icing on the cake set).
I stamped the Amore alphabet by Crafty Secrets to spell "sweets" on the canopy. The sentiment is by Flourishes.
Finally after I composed the scene I watercolored it sewed around the edge. I also watercolored the white felt flowers and put them on the cake and sentiment with pink microbrads. Tied up the ribbon with a little charm and then admired it on my table for a while (smiles).

Make sure you check out what all the Dirty girls did in the gallery HERE! They are fabulous!
