Happy Monday Morning everyone! Yes, blog candy time, here on Card Creme! I passed the milestone of 100,000 hits and thought it was due time to celebrate a little. So just leave me a comment on this post....maybe tell me what kind of video tutorials you want to see....or just comment and say hi and you could win:
A pad of Basic Grey Infuse paper
Yummy ribbon, chocolate polkadot and white satin (I used them both all the time)
2 packages of micro beads
A Brand new Sakura glitter pen
A pack of 200 dimensionals
Cool chipboard tags
Lastly, a card from me!
Good Luck! I will draw a name from the list Thursday Jan 17th at 9am PST.
Now the card. This was for todays' "Try a new Technique" challenge. I had no idea what I was going to do when I sat down, just grabbed some white paper and my BOHO BLOSSOMS stamps and started playing. I stamped my boho hearts in red craft ink then embossed with clear detail powder. I brayered on some metallic brilliance ink and some pink distress ink and then sponged edges with vintage photo distress ink. The heart I just cut out and layered it with red, then stitched it to my card. The little pocket was mad with my nestabilities and then embossed in the swirl folder. Stitched it on and added some ribbon tied flowers and a charm.
Tah Dah! Done!
Check back a little later, I was tagged by Julee and I might have some time to play along this evening.
Don't forget to comment for the candy!
