Strawberry vase

Just had to show you my evening's project tonight and not wait till tomorrow to post it, plus I was excited to show it to you. This is a ritz container that I altered. It is the perfect size for a mason jar with flowers to set inside.
Details:
Papertrey strawberry stamp
Wild Asparagas DP
Pollen Dust flourish
B-line design polka dot stamp
white eyelets
white ribbon
shrink film
SU "happiness" sentiment
giga scallop and lots of Modge Podge
A little about the process. The first picture is of the container. I used Matte Modge Podge and coated the container. In the second photo you can see I wrapped the container with paper and made sure to seal the edges using modge podge over top as well as under my seam. The third picture is all my little strawberry charms laying on parchment ready for the oven. The last picture is these fun little beauties all baked up....see how the color really pops after you bake them.
I'm off to a sports day tomorrow. Hope we stay dry! Can't wait to fill this with some flowers....hint,hint to the hubby!

Wow, look at all the fun things we get to look at today! I love the strawberries hanging from the scalloped border. Are you going to order Gina K's doodle rubber stamps that go with the scalloped punches? I'm thinking it would save a lot of time, for me.
