Firenze (Florence)

I was in happy shock when I discovered I still had a few scraps of this beautiful paper I found in Florence. The photo does not do this paper justice. It has beautiful gold highlights all over.

I used to buy stamps that I didn't have to color, why color if you don't need to? Then I discovered how lovely it was to match the colors in my image with the paper I am putting it with. Love how I could shade the edges of my bird darker and the edges of the leaves darker so that they mimic the paper. This bird is just singing a little song, much like the chickadees that have build a nest outside our front door. Enjoy the day, it is glorious here!

BTW....what are your thoughts on my new banner? I kinda like the simple clean look....love changin' things up!

This is beautiful, and must say so is the City, not that I am prejudice, what with my name, not much.
