My sister introduced me to your blog....she is friends with your sister. I love "lurking" and seeing what creations you come up with. I make cards as well only I have yet to attempt the coloring thing as I have no idea where to start. Your cards are beautiful, thanks for sharing.

Congrats on all those hits! Love your blog...you are on my Google Reader. So, question... "What is your favorite Stamp company?" Follow up question..."What stamp company have you Recently Discovered?"

I truly enjoy seeing your creations -- they are always beautiful, so richly layered and detailed, and have such a soft and soothing quality to them :)

I wonder how you come up with your cards-- do you start with the stamp in mind or papers or color combos? I am a newbie and am sometimes very overwhelmed by all the goodies I've come to accumulate.

Anonymous said...

My question is, what technique or style have you never tried, but have always meant to?

Anonymous said...

I really seeing your creations; enjoy checking to see what you create. Did you study art?
thanks-

Hello, just found your blog and will need to check it out but first wanted to get my name in for the awesome blog candy. Thanks for sharing.

Wow - Great blog candy ... AND what's this ... coffee too?! Oh yum, giddy up! If I can find time to do art and drink coffee then I say it's almost heaven on earth (oh yea, like you, I love a latte!!) So for my question: When do you find time to stamp? {I know being a SAHM is hard work. Which leads to another silly question; do you ever get to drink an entire cup of latte while it's still hot!}

Rosella said...

Sherrie, I like your blog a Latte LOL! I enjoy the projects you make. My question for you is: Do you ever lose your stamping mojo, if so how do you get it back?
Isn't it the best to stamp with coffee. Mind you, have to be careful not to get the coffee onto your stamping LOL!

Anonymous said...

I absolutely love your blog. I love your color combinations. How do you choose your colors when beginning a project?
I'm inspired by your work! Congratulations!

Hi Sherrie! Congrats on your hits! My question is when you sit down to make a card, do you start out with a layout in mind, or do you make the pieces, and decide on layout aftwerward?

Anonymous said...

I love this question and answers. It helps us get to know each other. I always post a non stamp question so here's one for you. What is your all time favorite chick flick? Mine is Cold Mountain, not sure why but it sticks out for me.

I enjoy seeing your creations - you always inspire me!

My question: do you have a "stamp- or craft-room" and how do you store your stamps, scrap and craft-stuff?

I just found your blog via a link on the "Stampin' When I Can" blog. :) I have also enjoyed perusing your gallory and your cards are great. Do you, like me, have to *move* your thinking to use different colors and tend to use certain colors mostly? Also, I love coffee too and would like to know your favorite. :)

I don't remember (and I almost never do since I have over 1000 subscriptions in Google Reader...yikes!). I remember it was fairly early on and I was bamboozled by your creations: http://stampinwhenican.blogspot.com/2007/03/found-new-site.html

Anyhoo, I want to know who is your biggest blogging enabler (i.e., who constantly uses materials that force you to go buy paper, stamps, etc.)?

Hi there! I'd sure love to win one of your cards :) I've always been a huge fan of your work. I was actually just thinking of contacting you to ask how you set things up with your floral shop- did you approach them? do they prepurchase? or do you get a % of the profit. How much? etc, etc. I'd love to try venturing out into this realm but it would be nice to get some input. email or pm me if you'd prefer, otherwise I'll look forward to a future post. email is

Love reading your blog, your candy looks great. One thing I am wondering, how do you decide which kind/type of ribbon to put on your cards? I never know if I should go with grograin, organdy, polka-dotted, gingham, etc. I love how ribbon finishes a card, but never know just which to pick.

I have been reading your blog since near the begining, and then passed it on to my friend Cindy. From the begining your cards have been inspiring, and a delightful part of my day/week. I even remember reading about a certain favourite perk of laptop computers, which was then deleted. :) It wasn't that bad of an idea.
I was wondering if you have a favourite ink brand? What would you recommend for use with acrylic stamps? Any tips for using staz-on ink and acrylic stamps?

As a fellow TWU alum, I am looking forward to seeing more of your delightful cards in the future.

Cheers. :)
