Ready for Spring? I know I am! Release day at MFT is almost here and I wanted to show one of the newest Pure Innocence sweeties for this month. This is "I'm all ears" and I colored her up using the no-line coloring method with my copic markers.

I stamped the image on X-press it blending card in Tattered Rose Distress ink....so that when I was done coloring the outlines fade into the image. I really  like the look of no-lines and it makes me really purposeful about the shape and shading that I am creating while coloring.

The closeup shows how I added little knobby knees to her and the creases in her arms etc.

Tip....after coloring in the entire image I went back and inked up the eyes, nose and mouth on my stamp and stamped it overtop. Otherwise those details fade into the background too and she needs those details!

Then there is the background! I love the new "Floral Fusion Cover Up" Die-namics. I cut it from vellum and laid it over top of the insulation pink card base. I stitched it into place.

The sentiment I stamped on a strip that came from the new "Blueprints 13" Die-namics and finished it off with an insulation pink button.
Here is a look at the inside. The "Tall Grassy Edge" Die-namics was cut from vellum and then adhered with glossy accents along the grass line. I stamped the same sentiment to the inside too....just give a wee bit of drying time for the ink when stamping on vellum.
Here are the products available March 11th!

That Floral Fusion CoverUp is turning out to be one of my faves. Your coloring is great, and on the inside---I would've never thought to use just grass, but it look great. Thanks for the inspiration.
