Denium Overalls copic how to....

Hi! It has been an interesting couple of days having my sidekick (Macbook Pro) in the shop getting a new hard drive. I had this ready to go on Friday and then my computer crashed...yikes! All is well and it gave me a chance to do a little hard drive upgrade...now I have LOTS of space for my photos :)

This little girl is "Happy Harvest" from the Doodle Garden collection at My Favorite Things! I just LOVE her little overalls! Below you will find a little step by step copic tutorial on these sweet jeans :)

Once she was colored I paired her up with a SUPER QUICK way to make a fabulous card....the Blueprints 7 Die-namics! Love how all the sweet little dies are right there all in one kit!

Speaking of COPICS.....have you seen what classes are coming your way? I have updated my Copic Certifications Details page....be sure to check it out! I am in BOTH SEATTLE, WA and EDMONTON, AB this month!

Started off with a base coat of B91

My light source is coming from the right I added shading with B95.
Add some more shading with B97.
Add your darkest shadows and cast shadows with B99.
Blend the colors.

For the last step...fill up a mister with copic blender solution and spritz the Textile Backgrounds stamp and then stamp the overalls. This will transfer the pattern of the stamp into the overalls. It will only "take" in areas that are colored....this is why if I am doing this technique I will do it first before coloring anything else. This avoids having to mask off the area.
