Tropical Sensations Teaser Day 2!

Welcome to the My Favorite Things teasers! This week I have lots to share with you before the release day July 9th....and all the daily info you will be able to see on the MFT blog! So here we go!....

Today is a look at Tropical Sensations!  A beautiful bold flower set and the matching Tropical Sensations Die-namics to coordinate with it....yay!

A bit about the background first. I cut out the new to be released Modern Morocco Die-namics in smooth white paper. I knew I wanted to do a sunset looking airbrush to this die.....I figured....why waste a beautiful spray pattern that it creates?

I lay the cut out die on the inside of my card to airbrush it....you can see the inside to the left (who would want to waste that?). I then mounted the finished airbrushed Die-namics on kraft cardstock for the front.
COPIC airbrush colors:
YR31, YR20, R32, R35, R59

Stamping the flowers was fun....I inked it up in my lightest ink first and then dabbed a bit of my darkest color around the outside of the stamp and just feathered it in a bit with a paintbrush before stamping.

The sentiment for the outside and inside were stamped on parts from the new Blueprints 5 Die-namics! Love all the little pieces that come in the Blueprints!

Soooo....lots to look forward to coming July 9th! See you tomorrow when I take a plunge :)....hint, hint!

Um...NO!!) and try this out myself! I'm not too good with airbrushing, but this is SO inspirational, I've just gotta try!!!
