Splendid Sunflower Bokeh!

 Yay for my favorite time of the month.....MFT Teasers! This kicks off a week of showing you what is coming to MFT on release day August 6th! Be sure to check out the MFT blog for photos of the upcoming stamp sets and the designers showing you some inspirational teases!

Today I am showing you "Splendid Sunflower"...this beautiful large stamp also has "Splendid Sunflower Die-namics" that coordinate with it.

When I take photos often I love to use a shallow depth of field which gives off beautiful BOKEH. This is the fuzzy like background where the images are less defined. You can see on my card that the three sunflowers in the foreground are crisp and then around the edges they are pretty fuzzy.

I achieved this by using the Splendid Sunflower Die-namics to create masks....so much easier than fussy cutting all those masks!  To achieve the bokeh flowers I inked them up and then sprayed the stamp with water before stamping. This gave the less structured look. I then stitched around the edge and added a sentiment with the wonderful new Grand Greetings set!

 Here is a look at the inside. I just took a portion of the script from the collage backgrounds set. Here is my supply list and the new stamps and Die-namics will be available August 6th!
