Welcome to a little Release Rewind MFT style! If you will have noticed...I had missed the Pure Innocence day teaser (gasp)! I am making up for that today!
It has been a while since I pulled out my watercolors and paintbrush so today was the day!
I used brand new paper from MFT this is called "Primitive Cream" card stock. You can see the pretty flecks in this paper and it is perfect for one-layer cards!
I inked up this new "On a Picnic" stamp with some archival black ink. I used a wet paintbrush and some watercolors to color the image.
To frame the sentiment on the front I did some embossing with the new Washi Tape Die-namics.
To the left is a look at the inside of the card.
I again stamped with Archival black ink (I know that ink is waterproof and won't run when I watercolor).
Remembering the extra shading on the water under the dock.
I also used some of my gelatos for the sky and and water portion on this card as well. To the left is the inside. I drew that line with my copic multiliner and stamped the fish from the set. Cute and simple :)
Be sure to check out what the rest of the girls did for today's MFT release rewind. You can find them all on the MFT blog! Thanks for stopping by!

Okay, so your coloring is amazing no matter what medium you use! I especially like the watercoloring on the PI that is fishing.
wow! you can color....I knew that, but it's just as beautiful in watercolor. These two cards are beatuiful, Sherrie!
LOVE your coloring - wow! The watercolor is beautiful! And embossing with the washi tape is so clever. Love that texture!
