Convocation

 The day has come....my baby girl graduates. I wasn't quite prepared for the mixed bag of emotions that today has created. I am extremely proud....did I blink? I thought she was '5'!!!

Extra gratitude today that I can be a part of this momentous occasion....one that my own mother didn't get to see of mine. This is one of those things "that never comes again" and it is very "SWEET" moments.

This is my vintage tag card that I will be giving to my daughters' best friend. I made a card base 3x6 and then took my largest TAG STAX and lined it up so that only the fold wouldn't be cut as I ran it through my machine. Easy, pretty card base!

The stack of books is from the Inspired by Knowledge set and the sentiment is from the Vertical Greetings II set. Decorated with some Peaceful Wildflowers on the front as well as the inside (below).

Prettied up with some Melissa Frances Classic Elegance papers and vintage button.

I also did a little airbrushing with my copic marker YR82 to the frame of the sentiment and the seam binding ribbon.
